Market — The Booster Bullpen Market Index (BBMI)

The BBMI is an equal-weighted daily index of 212 sealed booster boxes spanning Modern, Vintage, and Recent eras. The Market page shows the live index value, today's change, 30-day change, basket composition by era, advancers vs decliners, and a historical index chart. Methodology v1.3 uses asymmetric MAD winsorization to dampen single-product spikes while preserving real market signal. Methodology — How Booster Bullpen scores sealed MTG product

The Bullpen Score is a composite rating on a 0–100 scale that blends fair-value estimation, momentum, breadth of buyer interest, collectibility (rarity, reprint risk, historical significance), and pricing reliability. Each set's score updates daily. This page documents the inputs, weightings, and decision rules behind every score, fair-value target, and buy/sell signal on the platform, including the BBMI index methodology and the quarterly collectibility rubric.

Eras — Browse sealed MTG by historical era

Magic: The Gathering's sealed market behaves very differently across eras. Vintage (Alpha through Onslaught, 1993–2003) is a thin, supply-constrained collector market. Modern (Mirrodin through Magic Origins, 2003–2015) is the most liquid investment band. Recent (Battle for Zendikar onward, 2015+) trades on play demand and reprint risk.
